Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the RetroLab app for iPhone and iPad and this website. Kirill Kirilenko is responsible for RetroLab and the personal information handled through its support contact. Apple and the services you independently choose have their own privacy policies.

Photos & local app data

RetroLab processes photos and visual effects on your device. The app does not automatically upload your photos or videos to a RetroLab server. Captures, original media used for editing, edit settings, and library information are stored locally by the app.

You do not need a RetroLab account. The release does not include active advertising analytics, third-party behavioral analytics, or third-party crash-reporting services. Device backups, iCloud Photos, and other Apple services are governed by your device settings and Apple’s policies.

When you export or share, the destination you select receives the content you choose. Deleting a local app item does not necessarily delete a copy already exported to Photos or another service.

Permissions you control

Camera access enables capture. Microphone access supports video recording with sound. Photos access supports the photo-library actions you request. Optional notifications are scheduled locally on your device; RetroLab does not use remote push notifications. You can review or revoke permissions in Settings on your device; a feature that relies on a disabled permission may become unavailable.

Apple purchases

Apple processes payments for optional Pro purchases. RetroLab uses Apple’s StoreKit framework to determine whether you have an active subscription or other eligible purchase. We do not receive your payment-card details. Purchase and subscription information may be retained by Apple under its own policies.

This website

This is a static website hosted by Vercel. We do not add advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, tracking cookies, or third-party embedded media. Fonts and sample images are served with the website.

Delivering and protecting a website involves technical request information, which can include an IP address, browser information, requested address, and request time. Vercel processes hosting and security information under its Privacy Notice. This hosting activity is separate from photo processing in the app.

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to answer your request and investigate the reported issue. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or media you do not want to share.

Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request, follow up on a related issue, or meet applicable legal obligations. Your email provider and the receiving email service also process correspondence as part of delivery.

Your choices & questions

You can manage permissions, remove local library items, and delete the app through your device. Manage exported copies and backups in the services where they are stored. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us about information provided through support.

We may update this policy when the app or website changes. The date on this page identifies the latest revision.
